Canon CES: Long Live Love

Project Overview
Long underestimated as “just a camera company,” Canon is a world-class innovator with more patents than Sony, LG and Apple. To shift this brand perception, we chose the world's largest tech event, CES, as our stage to demonstrate what Canon is truly capable of.

Leveraging Canon’s Volumetric Video System and the direction of renowned photographer Atiba Jefferson, we created a first-of-its-kind mixed-reality skate session that resurrected the iconic Love Park with a 360° green screen, 100 synchronized 4K cameras, and two rising Japanese street skating phenoms.

Outcomes
Long Live Love debuted at the all-digital CES event through an interactive timeline that tells the story of Love Park’s glory days, demise, and its spectacular resurrection, using iconic footage, quotes and interviews from legendary skaters and photographers.

Capturing over 240k visitors and a 95% engagement rate, the experience earned significant impressions and business leads for Canon along with nods from a slew of award shows and the Best of CES honor.
